internal:venue.GEELONG-KARDINIA-COUNT
What it means
Geelong has exactly ten ordinary home games at Kardinia Park, plus its Easter Monday home game at the MCGMelbourne Cricket Ground.Read more in the glossary.
Why it exists
The first preview gave Geelong no Kardinia Park games at all, which anyone who follows the game would spot. This rule fixed it.
For example
Geelong hosts ten games in Geelong and one, Easter Monday against Hawthorn, at the MCG.
How strictly it applies
Must-follow The fixture must obey this rule. A separate checker tests the finished fixture afterwards.
Must-follow. The ten-game figure is a modelled assumptionA value we chose because the AFL has not published the 2027 fact, or because a convention is only visible in past fixtures.Read more in the glossary for 2027; the captured source speaks to 2026. Checked from the 14 September corrected release.
