Same-state derbies per day
internal:date.DATE-MARKET-CAPACITYCatalogue name: Same-market pairs per day
What it means
The number of games on one day between two clubs from the same state stays within a set limit for that weekday.
Why it exists
A rough sanity check for the date stageOne of five steps that build the fixture: opponents, rounds, dates, home ground and venue, TV slot.Read more in the glossary. Games between clubs from different states do not count, because which state hosts them is not decided yet.
For example
Two Victorian-club games on a Saturday is fine; the setting allows two for Victoria and one for the other states.
How strictly it applies
Must-follow The fixture must obey this rule. A separate checker tests the finished fixture afterwards.
Must-follow. A model-integrity check, not an AFLAustralian Football League.Read more in the glossary rule.
Where to see it
