Six rounds between the two meetings
RA-02Catalogue name: Six rounds between meetings
What it means
When two clubs meet twice, at least six rounds separate the two games.
Why it exists
Spreads a pair's two games across the season instead of bunching them.
For example
If Sydney and Greater Western Sydney meet in Round 3, their return game cannot come before Round 9.
How strictly it applies
Must-follow The fixture must obey this rule. A separate checker tests the finished fixture afterwards.
Must-follow. Checked from the second 14 September release; in practice the model's gaps have been much wider (twelve rounds or more in early versions).
Where to see it
How the fixture is made shows how this plays out across the season.
How it played out across versions
One cell per release, oldest first. Each shows the verdict that release recorded for this rule; a release with no row for the rule says so.
